Lazar Tuition: Terms & Conditions. 

1. Session Commitment
By enrolling, you’re booking a recurring one-on-one session each week for the full NSW school term (10 weeks). Your child’s spot is reserved exclusively for them.

Tutoring sessions are scheduled for a fixed duration of 60 minutes. If a student arrives late, the session will conclude at the originally scheduled end time, and the missed time will not be rescheduled or extended.

To help keep everything running smoothly, please make sure students are picked up on time at the end of their session. 

2. Payment Structure
 All payments must be made for the full NSW School term.
Payment can be made:

  • In full upfront for the term OR

  • In two instalments of 5 weeks each (additional administration fee)

  • Payment 1 to be made on or before Monday of week 1 and then payment 2 to be made on or before Monday week 4.

3. Missed Sessions / Cancellations
 – More than 24 hours’ notice: 50% fee still applies
– Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show: full fee charged

4. Refunds
No refunds are offered for missed or cancelled sessions. This policy ensures consistency for all students and respects the time I’ve committed to each family.

5. Behaviour & Communication
A respectful, consistent approach from both student and parent is expected. If I feel that a student would be better supported elsewhere, I’ll always let you know.

6. Zoom sessions:

The zoom link will be supplied at the beginning of the term. Students must use this link each time to log in. 

The zoom camera must be turned on during tutoring sessions. 

Students must be located in a space where they can fully communicate and work effectively. 

Liability. 

Lazar Tuition will provide tuition to the highest possible standard. Lazar Tuition endeavours to meet all student requirements, but as each student is an individual and learns in different ways, there is no guarantee that tuition will achieve specific academic results. All study requires individual effort and preparation by the student, including reading, studying and practice which is beyond the control of Lazar Tuition. 

Lazar Tuition accepts no accident liability beyond the control of the tutoring service. 

Child Protection.

To adhere with NSW Child Protection legislation, Zoom sessions will not be recorded without direct parental permission.
